What MOUTHPIECE does
A vocal chain is a fixed order of five jobs: clean the gaps, control the level, tame the esses, shape the tone, add presence. Most producers either buy five plugins and learn twenty knobs, or download a free vocal preset that was tuned for someone else's microphone. MOUTHPIECE is the third option: the whole chain in one plugin, in the right order, with one MOUTH knob that pushes every stage further at once in a balanced way. The stages are real, not toy versions. The gate cleans room noise between lines. The compressor is the same core as KNUCKLE. The de-esser catches sibilance before it is compressed forward. Tone and air shape the body and the top end, and a saturation stage adds presence and grit. Five small trims let you bias each stage, more air, less squash, harder de-ess, when the one-knob balance is close but not exact.
