Dr.dawgOG is a hip-hop music producer, beat maker and mix engineer from Anand, Gujarat, India, working out of a basement studio since 2014. The sound is boom bap and sample flips: dusty drums chopped on an SP-404, 45-rpm record flips, Indian folk and film records cut into loops, 808s pushed until they break, with the occasional dubstep detour. The beats on this page are free to preview; the full tape is for Gujarati, Hindi and English rap artists who want something built for their record rather than bought off a shelf.

The credits above are Gujarati hip-hop: nine records with TRIGO and three with Rhuin, produced and mixed in this room. That work is what the mixing and mastering service is built on: rap vocals over a two-track beat or a full stem mix, priced in rupees, turned around in days.
